Option #3: Ode to Luna

Went with option #3 for the midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 2, which I may or may not discuss later.  In short, I had such a marvelous time with friends and the movie was a satisfyingly fun conclusion to the saga (at least it was for me anyways).

For now, here is my ode to Luna and her marvelous Lion Hat (pictured below; photo taken from photobucket).

First, I went to Goodwill and purchased two items.  Item number one quickly lost its widdle head.

Awwww, item number two -- the Lion. 

Little lion was decapitated and defaced.   

I sewed the lion face onto the bear head because the bear was the biggest stuffed animal head I could find.  I pulled out the stuffing and it made a nice cap for my head.  Admittedly the bear ears with the lion face look slightly comical.

And now for the fun part.  Anna and I raided the Michael's ribbon clearance bin and found all sorts of fun embellishments.  I sticthed them all over the back of the head to create the wildly elaborate mane.  How long did it take me?  Two and a half movies.  Not bad, eh?
